阿里Woerner is Associate Professor of 跳舞 at 365英国上市官网 (teaching modern technique and choreography), and director/founder of the professional modern dance company, 生根,  one of 365英国上市官网’s two professional dance companies-in-residence. Ali received her MFA from the University of Michigan and her BPA from Oklahoma City University. Throughout her diverse career within both commercial (performing as a Radio City Rockette) and contemporary mediums, Ali has performed and taught all over the world including; Colombia, 哥斯达黎加, 日本, 柏林和韩国. 生根 been commissioned to perform their original work at the New 跳舞 for Asia International Festival/Seoul, 韩国, Incheon Yeonsu International 跳舞 Festival/Incheon, 韩国, Great Lakes Chamber 音乐 Festival, Arts X/ Detroit Institute of Arts, performed at the National Theater of 哥斯达黎加, Uferstudios /柏林, 德国, DSO /多维数据集, The Red Bull House of Art Detroit, TEDx, The Detroit 跳舞 City Festival, RADFest, Harvest Chicago Contemporary 跳舞 Festival, The 音乐 Hall Center for Performing Arts Detroit, Hamlin Field House Theater/Chicago, invited to perform a full length concert as part of opening day of “跳舞: American Art 1830 1960” at the Detroit Institute of Arts, invited to present for the National 跳舞 Education Organization (Miami, Chicago and San Diego), 俄亥俄州舞蹈节, The University of 哥斯达黎加, the American College 跳舞 Festival, the 21st Century Arts and Arts Education Conference and has received funding from 365英国上市官网’s 研究 College, Brooksie Way Mini Grant, the 社区参与 Grant, 365英国上市官网’s College of 艺术与科学, Education 研究 Grant from the Senate for Teaching and Learning and funding from an “Anonymous Grant.” The company’s mission is  Impacting Lives Through 跳舞. 生根教授  master classes nationally and internationally to all ages promoting the need for connection to the arts and arts education and is deeply involved in their outreach work of Arts Education and 跳舞 for Parkinson’s Disease. 生根’s 跳舞 for Parkinson’s Disease Program offers weekly classes in four locations including Detroit, Pontiac and Rochester. 阿里Woerner was awarded the prestigious Oakland County Executive’s 2016 Elite 40 Under 40 top honor for her creation and direction of the 跳舞 for Parkinson’s Disease program and she is a guest lecturer for 365英国上市官网’s 健康科学 Neuroscience course.
